Born February, 11, 1938 in Austria, passed away February 18, 2010 in Drayton Valley, AB. Gertrud passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her eight children - Gertrude, Maria, Karoline, Fred, Roswitha, Kunigunde, Monika, Anita and their spouses. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 sisters.
She was predeceased by her husband, one brother and one sister.
