Crow Hunt to be held Saturday

Saturday March 27th, The Nite Hawk Bar and Grill in Roosevelt will host their second annual Crow Hunt Tournament. This proved to be a popular event last year with 18 teams participating. Last year’s tournament winners Steve Stoskopf and Greg Anderson will return this year to defend their title. Stoskopf says “Hunting crows is tougher than it looks, they are sharp birds, but we enjoyed the challenge.” Stoskopf used a target rifle and Anderson shot with a 12 guage so between them they could get them long range or up close. “It was a wonderful time,” Stoskopf says.
The hunt is limited to the first 25 teams to register. You can register at anytime or at the hunter’s meeting at 8 am March 27th. Hunting hours are from 9am to 5pm and the first team back to the hawk with the most birds will win. There is a limit of 8 birds per team.
