Warroad Summer Theater begins season with murder mystery

Warroad Summer Theatre announces the closing performances of “Eclipsed”, a mystery/comedy with audience participation on March 25-28, 2004. All performances take place at the Warroad American Legion Club with dinner theatre seating beginning at 6:00 p.m. The closing matinee on March 28th is a 2:00 p.m. matinee, show only. Reservations are available with Jill at (218) 386-2073.
Menu selection serves up Hawaiian Ham on March 25, Barbeque Ribs and Shrimp on March 26 and Rrime Rib on March 27. The Warroad Women of Today will be serving desserts at each performance.
“Eclipsed” has a cast of the following: Cynthia Cran, Tiffany Awalt, Robert Baril, Dustin Solar and Sara Krause. Brenda Arntzen serves as Artistic Director with Jill Anderson as Assistant Director and Technical Direction by Ron Anderson.
Join the talented cast and crew as guests at the Annual Moonlight Masquerade Charity Gala. Who is responsible for the theft of the diamond Tiffany necklace? Perhaps an audience participant may have an answer to help solve the crime.
Auditions for the summer season will take place on April 10th at Zion Lutheran Church. Tryouts for the Popcorn Players production of “The Enchantment of Beauty and the Beast”, directed by Lee Barnum will take place from 9:00-noon. The remainder of the summer plays auditions will take place from 1:00-5:00 p.m. The summer venue includes: “Steel Magnolias”, directed by Bonnie Nordvall; “John Lennon and Me”, directed by Linda Schempp; and “Damn Yankees”, directed by Lee Barnum.
