Sunday, Feb. 28th the McInnes Chapel Board met at the home of Bill and Bev Langner with Chairman, Bob Locking bringing the meeting to order. The minutes were read by Secretary, Carol Jenson and accepted. Vivian Locking, Treasurer gave her report which was also accepted. The agenda quickly turned to our upcoming Yard Sale which was set for Sat. May 1st. You may contact any board member to donate items for the sale.
Bev read a joke for everyone’s enjoyment and gave a quick update on Larry and Linda Budreau who were vacationing in Hawaii. We are happy to report they are safely on their way home following a Tsunami scare. Carol read a thank you from the Salvation Army for a donation we made to the Haiti disaster fund. Nancy adjourned the meeting which was the fastest on record due to the Olympic hockey game, in which Canada triumphed! We indulged in a wonderful luncheon as we viewed the game.
Our next meeting will be March 28th at the Chapel, weather permitting, or the Locking’s if we are, unable to get into the chapel.
