Yet another successful RR Trade Show

They will gladly trade nice weather for snow!
Organizers for the 5th Annual Rainy River Trade Show once again did exceptionally well on Saturday!
After a freak snow storm two years ago, they have now proven that last year was not a blip. On Saturday they repeated last year’s success attracting about the same numbers as last year.
“We had officially about 500 pay at the door, but we had side doors open and did not charge for kids under five this year,” said Rainy River and District Chamber of Commerce President Don Ricci. With that in mind he feels the number is closer to 600.
The consensus from exhibitors was that it was busier than last year. Many reported a steady stream of visitors all day.
“I am very pleased with how things went. It was very well put together and looked professional. Of course there is always room for improvement and our committee will be meeting to work on that,” said Ricci. He noted that the committee was much larger this year and that helped make things run smoothly. “Everyone did what they were supposed to and they did a lot of work.”
There were 56 booths with some hosting many organizations/businesses. “I myself had six or seven businesses represented. It was like I had a mini-tradeshow within the big one!” said Ricci.
Two years ago the chamber did everything the same but the first of those years a freak storm dumped 18 inches of snow in one day and only a couple hundred people attended. Last year there was about 600 in attendance and this year’s echo of that solidifies Rainy River’s record as a trade show to be part of! “We have done well and now we need to tweak things a bit. Try targeting even more booth renters to attract and even broader range of visitors,” said Ricci.
