Rock-a-thon raises over $1,500

Eighteen members showed up to help set up for the Strawberry Social. After getting it all set up, enjoying Pizza's for lunch at the Legion, we had a short regular meeting. We opened with our prayer, Carolee read the minutes of the last meeting, and Dawn Jarvis gave the financial report. Both approved as given. It was reported the Rockathon was very successful, netting us over $1500.00.
It was brought to our attention, the Relay for Life, could use help or funds, and it was decided to give $200.00 towards the cost of the breakfast.
The Graduation Committee sent a "Thank You" for the donation given towards their Chem Free Party.
Also some of our members are doing the phoning involved for the eye van appointments.
The Tuck shop committee reports there are two lovely baby blankets available, along with many other young childrens wear.
Our next meeting is a luncheon, at the Roadside Restaurant on June 1st at 12:00. Leave your money at the Bake Shop by May 25th please.
It will also be the installation of our new officers, so try to be there.
