Bell Canada may soon offer high speed internet in RR

In the flurry of construction activity in Rainy River this spring, you may not have noticed some work being done by Bell Canada.
Trucks have been busily upgrading lines in town with the plan to improve services here.
Bell Canada spokesperson Norma Hughes Howard said, “Indeed the work we’re doing in the Rainy River area is to accommodate new services such as high speed Internet! The business case looks very favourable for DSL in the urban area of Rainy River although we haven’t secured final approval.”
Howard said the public should stay tuned for exciting news in the near future.
