Pat Acree elected president

On June 1st we had our luncheon meeting at the Roadside Restaurant with 19 members present.
Pat Acree said grace, and we all partook in a very delicious meal. Thank You Debbie.
Our regular meeting opened with the auxiliary prayer followed by Buddy Hannam presiding over the installation of our new officers. Before installing the officers, she thanked president Myrna Armstrong for all her dedicated hard work she did as president for the last almost 8 years. You did a great job Myrna.
The new officers now are President - Pat Acree; 1st vice Joyce Penner; 2nd vice Betty Blight; secretary Carolee Hogue; and Treasurer Dawn Jarvis.
Our new officers continued with the meeting, the minutes read and financial statement given.
There was no business arising from the minutes and the only correspondence was a "Thank You" from Riverside Foundation for money donated towards the Bath Tub Projects for our hospital.
New business was planting flowers in the beds around the hospital, which we will do June 7th, weather permitting. Several members volunteered to help, and Joyce Penner will care for them throughout the season.
Also a float for Railroad Daze was discussed and the committee will take care of this.
Our meeting was adjourned, there will be no meetings in July or August, so the next one is Sept 7th at the hospital. Enjoy your summer.
