Borderland Community Orchestra to perform for free in Baudette

The Borderland Community Orchestra is presenting a concert on May 2, at the Lake of the Woods School Auditorium. The concert begins at 2pm. The doors will be open at 1:30.
BCO is comprised of 65 musicians living on the United States - Canadian border between Rainy Lake and Lake of the Woods and is in its 5th season.
This year the local orchestra members have decided to make this concert free of charge, encouraging the entire community to enjoy our fifth anniversary season. In years past the BCO has donated proceeds to local non-profit groups such as, Dollars for Scholars, Give a Toot Band Program, and the Food Shelf.
One of the highlights of the program will be the performance of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, possibly the most well known work of classical music.
