Gladys Andy, 53

Gladys Nora Andy (Gibbins), of Rainy River, Ontario passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2004. She was born in Rainy River and was married to the late Bryan Andy Sr. Gladys enjoyed crafts, quilting, cooking and beadwork. She liked fishing and outdoor cookouts. Gladys was a devoted mother to her daughter Krystal and son Brian Jr. and enjoyed being with her family. She was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly Church in Baudette, MN.
She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Katie Gibbins, her brothers Harry Gibbins, James Gibbins, Alexander Gibbins Jr., Michael Gibbins, Clifford Gibbins, Johnny Gibbins, Joseph Gibbins & twin brothers, sisters Katherine Jennson and Matilda Gibbins.
Gladys is survived by her son Bryan Andy Jr., her daughter Krystal Andy, her brothers Lawrence Gibbins, Leonard Gibbins (Roberta), and sisters Diane Major (Brian), Janet Larson (Lawrence), Rita Andy and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bergland Hall with Pastor Bob Lapos from Cornerstone Assembly Church officiating.
Friends may visit Wednesday, April 21, 2004 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the Rainy River Funeral Home in Rainy River.
Pallbearers will be Reuben Gibbins, Thomas Cheena, Waylon Gibbins, Larry Gibbins, Clarence Gibbins Sr. & Jason Gibbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Sharon Hostetter, Jeanette Major, Beverly Thunder, Angela Major-Donaldson, Mary Gibbins and Sheila Debungee.
