Damose (Mousie) Desorcy, 84
All good things must come to an end, and so after 84 years filled with love, family and friends, Mousie Desorcy peacefully passed away on April 15, 2004 with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 12, 1920 in Lorette Manitoba to Eva and Eugene Desorcy. Mousie grew up on the family farm in Rainy River, Ontario. He was united in marriage on
July 7, 1945 to Helen Komarnicki and together they raised 6 children.
Mousie loved fishing and spent many hours on Ontario lakes. Dad loved
animals and tamed many squirrels to eat from his hand. He was a milkman for 31 years and loved to talk with everyone he met. Dad loved to joke around
and everyone will always remember his smile, sense of humor and loving spirit. After moving to Alberta Dad cherished his time spent with his grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy and we were very blessed to have had him in our lives. Moving into the Lodge two years ago, he quickly surrounded himself with warm friends to visit and play cards with. He could not stop talking about the good food and clean environment of his new home.
Mousie was predeceased by his wife Helen of 55 years. Left to cherish many wonderful memories are his children and grandchildren, David, Linda (Dave) and daughters Amanda and Sarah, Pat (Darlene) and daughter Jennifer, Gerry (Brenda ) and daughter Alana, Ken (Sue) and children Kyle, Rachelle, Evan and Nick, and Janell (Clancy) and children Jade, Taryn and Bryce. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 a.m. on April 20, 2004. If friends so desire donations may be sent to Alberta Amputee Association, P.O.
