Great community involvement!

Letter to the Editor,
Friday evening, April 23rd, we enjoyed the entertaining “It’s All Greek to Me” at the Rainy River High School.
It was an exciting event and a wonderful example of community involvement and support.
Following a deliciously prepared Greek dinner, organized by the Dinner Theatre Committee of community volunteers, the Grade 9 to 12 students transported us on a musical voyage into Greek history and mythology. The amount of history, talent, entertainment and humour was astounding; it was beautifully wrapped together throughout the evening. The talented actors, stage crew and directors who produced the play and organized the evening must feel very proud of themselves and extremely pleased with their results. The community which spawned this troupe must be equally proud.
Last year we loved, “Romeo and Juliet.” This year we found the same level of professionalism evident again. Any professional dinner theatre would be proud to claim ownership.
We eagerly look forward to next year’s production.
Thanks to everyone at the High School, in the community and from the surrounding area who contributed to this heart-warming, humourous experience.
