Our Lady of the Way celebrates the Class of 2011

Our Lady of the Way Grade Eight Graduation ceremonies were held on the evening of Wednesday, June 22.

Review into drownings released

Dr. Andrew McCallum, Chief Coroner for Ontario, today announced the results of the Office of the Chief Coroner’s review of the drowning deaths that occurred in the months of May, June, July, August and September 2010. The purpose of this review was to identify common factors that may have played a role in the deaths and if necessary, make recommendations to prevent similar deaths.
Led by Dr. Bert Lauwers, Deputy Chief Coroner for Investigations, the Review Team examined 89 accidental drowning deaths. Highlights of the report include:
