Record number of kids register for RR Figure Skating this year

The club’s annual Skate 4 Funds family skate night was held this past Sunday to kick off the 2010-11 season. With an all time high registration of 71 skaters, the ice surface was buzzing with activity. Skaters and family members hit the ice to join the fun and then socialize over a cup of hot chocolate afterwards. Thanks to the generous area residents, the skaters raised a total of $5300 to offset the cost of ice time, coaching fees and other related club activities.
