RRHS Senior Girls Basketball team member Janelle Andy is seen leading an attack into visiting Ignace Falcon territory last Wednesday. The Owls went on to win 57-17.

Food Drive

RR Dist. United Church Youth Group collected food stuffs for the RR Food Bank on Sunday. Jenaya Vanheyst of Emo, left, is seen collecting some from Gill Stamler of RR, while Ben Miller of Stratton looks on. They collected 50 bags of groceries.

Off and running!

The Rainy River Legion Ladies Aux. donated $200 to the Riverview Cross Country team to attend the Legion Mid-Canada Cross Country Meet this weekend in Thunder Bay. They also donated $100 to the meet itself to help with costs of running it. 15 students will attend from here. From the left, Kathryn Clifford, Donna Ivall-Legion Aux.
