District Cattlemen elect new executive for 2005

A few new faces and some familiar ones will lead the Rainy River Cattlemen’s Association. They held their annual elections last Wednesday evening during their annual meeting in Stratton.

The Lake of the Woods Township council held their regular meeting on Jan. 11, 2005 at Bergland. Present were Mayor V. Pizey, Councillors J. Moen, C. Fadden, T. Sepers, B. Lundgren, ClerkTreasurer P. Giles, Road Supt. E. Pearson, Fire Chief W. Detwieler, and 4 visitors.

We opened our regular meeting with only eight members present. All joined in reading the auxiliary prayer, followed by Jessie Bodnarchuk reading the minutes and Myrna Armstrong giving the financial report.
