So far we have seen that the atom is the smallest part of an element, and that it is like an infinitely small solar system. The positive nucleus is at the center, and the negative electrons whirl around the outside.

TORONTO, Oct. 24 /CNW/ - Halloween is a time for mystery and make- believe. On October 31 many of us will open our homes to the fun and festivities of All Hallows Eve. Unlike their human guardians; pets do not revel in the celebration. Costumes, decorations, loud noises and frequent visitors to the front door put pets at risk and can cause extreme anxiety. The Rainy River Charitable Association (RRCA) just keeps on giving! In existence for about a year and a half now, the organization was formed to allow local groups to access fundraising activities like raffles and bingo.

About 40 people attended a strategic planning session hosted by the Rainy River and District Chamber of Commerce last Wednesday.
The evening was the first step in working towards ways of improving the economy of Rainy River and was facilitated by the Rainy River Future Development Corporation.
