Kids raise over $2,600 for figure skating

29 kids skated figures that added up to more than $2,600 two Sunday’s ago.
The Rainy River Figure Skating Club (RRFSC) began its season with its annual skate-a-thon. It is the club’s biggest fund raiser of the year and helps keep the cost of joining the club down.

Each year Wal-Mart stores across Canada each choose a school to adopt and help out. This year the Fort Frances Wal-Mart has chosen McCrosson-Tovell School in Bergland.
