It is his first full time teaching job and Trevor Hands is loving every minute of it!
This young man, a Fort Frances native, loves the area and was very excited to get hired to teach full time in Bergland at McCrosson-Tovell elementary school.

Joan Pentney is in her 20th year of teaching and has made the move from McCrossen-Tovell after 17 years there, to Riverview School in Rainy River.
“It was just time for a change,” said Pentney having nothing but good things to say about her years at Bergland.

Well then the Record office has something for you this Thursday as it hosts its 10th Annual Alzheimer’s Coffee Break. Each year the staff spends all night baking goodies the night before and then opens its doors to the public to raise money for this good cause.

Senior Friendship Group News

On Sept. 15/04 we met at the depot for fun and fellowship. John Gosselin was our guest today. His guitar and that great voice we all enjoy, singing those old western songs we love. Thanks John.

Osadchuks honoured by the community for 35+ years of service

They came here in 1968 and planned to only stay a short while. Last week a come and go tea was held to honour Bob and Iris Osadchuk who moved to Steinbach this week; some 36 years after they arrived.
