Late Dawn Melanie Indian “Dawnch”

EVELYN GRACE MOEN, (nee Shore) from Rainy River, Ontario passed away on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 at the Rainy River Hospital at the age of 85 years.

Stella Jensson 94 of McInnes Creek passed away at home on Sunday January 18, 2009.

On Monday January 12, 2009 at the La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont, Margaret Govier passed away at the age of 83 years.

After a short illness, on December 26, 2008, Ray (Raymond) David Ramage, formerly of Rainy River, passed away peacefully with family at his side. He was born August 26, 1922 and was educated in Portage la Prairie, MB and served in WWII as a radio/telegraph operator while flying coastal patrols in Catalina PBY’s. After the war, he apprenticed as a watchmaker/jeweller and took his first position with Dave Brockie in Fort Frances and later opened his own store in Rainy River until 1960.

John Bodnarchuk, 78, of Rainy River, Ont., passed away peacefully Sunday,
December 21, 2008 at the Rainy River Health Center with family at his side.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2008, Vivian Adeline Smith of Rainy River, Ontario, went to be with her Lord, at the age of 88 years.
