Peacefully at the Riverside Health Care Facility, Rainy River, Ont, on Monday August 18, 2008, Herbert James Nelson of Rainy River, past away at the age of 85.

February 7, 1928 to August 15, 2008

On August 15, Redvas Cyril Newman of Winnipeg, formerly of Sleeman, Ontario passed away at the age of 80.

Perry Johnson Archie 61 of Rainy River First Nations passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.

Sharon Olson, age 70, of Badger, MN died early Wednesday morning, August 13, 2008 in the Warroad Care Center at Warroad, MN.

Rudy Marquardt, a 30 year resident of Atikokan passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008.
As per Rudy's wishes there will be no public service. A Masonic service will be held in September 2008.

Gertrude F Gunderson passed away July 12, 2008 at the Riverside Health Care Facility, Rainy River Ont, in her 91st year. She was born in Idaho, U.S.A to Florence Arsenault and Albert Langstaff. Gertie moved to Rainy River, Ont at the age of 6. She married Adolph Gunderson in July 1936 and together they lived their entire life in Rainy River and raised their family there.

William “Bill” James Trenchard

Peacefully on Monday June 23, 2008, Bill passed away at River Park Gardens, at the age of 81 years.

Donald Stanley Warnuk age 65 years a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully with friends by his side on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospice Unit.
