Dean Armstrong-skip, Jen Armstrong-third, Brent Anderson-second and
Larry Armstrong-lead, won the annual RR Open Bonspiel over the weekend.

Bryan Bonot-skip. Giselle Bonot-third, Jessica Haw-second and Brandon Brigham-lead won the second event in the RR Open Bonspiel on the weekend.

Adam Bolen-skip. Ryan Anderson-third, Kam Kuzyk-second and Carly Nordin-lead won the third event in the RR Open Bonspiel on the weekend.

Members of the Rainy River Figure Skating Club have been practising up a storm lately. Their annual ice show will be this Saturday and Sunday at the Rainy River Arena.

Three teams win NORWOSSA medals!

LOW PEE-WEE’s went into District play in 1st place and were able to hold their position and come out with a first place win. Their district tournament play in Bagley, MN., started out with a 6-0 win over Warroad on Friday Feb 14th. Saturday they defeated Hallock 4-2 securing them a place at the region tournament. On Sunday, the Bears went to work again and defeated Bagley 6-2 on their home ice to secure the title of District 16 Champions!! WAY TO GO BEARS!! Thank you so much to the coaches, parents, and fans!! What an awesome weekend of youth hockey!!!
