This is a little duck. It is also a duck of many colours, and it has a crested head. It also nests in trees. Not entirely an oddball, but maybe not too far from it.

My trust has been broken

In any Democracy the power of the elected government is superior to that of the military which is always politically neutral. The glue that holds the system together is trust; between those two institutions and between those institutions and the people. A report this week, for a moment shook my trust, so let me explain what I found and why in the end my trust remains unshaken.

Kids club has read over 190 books at RR Library this summer

The TD Summer Reading Club for Kids is off to a flying start at the Rainy River Public Library.
Almost 30 children have joined our club this year.
