The badger is a weasel

The badger is a weasel. This seems rather odd, because it doesn’t look like a weasel at all. It has a rather strange shape. Its legs are very short, and its fur spreads out to the side, so that it looks like a walking mat. When it walks, it waddles, and when it runs, it trots in a funny sort of way.

On Aug. 30, Lake of the Woods Township Council held a special meeting with Larry Lundy, Fire Protection Advisor, at the request of the Fire Marshall’s office in Thunder Bay. Mr. Lundy, expressing a concern with the resignation of Fire Chief C. Pollard, discussed the matter with Council and gave advice and input from the Fire Marshall’s office.

Harlequin to entertain Saturday at RRWT

Harlequin began as a Winnipeg circuit band from their inception in 1978. The nucleus of the band consisted of singer George Belanger, guitarist John Hannah and Gary Golden on keyboards, along with drummer David Budzak and Ralph James on bass.

In case you have not noticed there are a few big changes to the RRWT this year.
For the past seven years fishing has taken place on Saturday and Sunday.

(Fort Frances, Ontario) On September 1st, at approximately 6:30 pm members of the Fort Frances Detachment of the OPP investigated a disturbance in the 200 block of Scott Street. As a result of that investigation Joel Walton, age 25, of Fort Frances was arrested and charged with failing to comply with an Undertaking.
