Wilson wins Emo crown

Trisha Wilson, 17, was crowned 2004 Emo Fair Queen last night after the talent show at the Emo La Vallee Community Centre. Leanne Beck, 18, was named First Princess, and Alana Wieringa, 18, was named Second Princess. Also competing for the title were Tiffanie Whitefish, 17, and Kim Olson, 18. The evening featured a performance from each of the contestants, as well as performances by this year’s Grandstand Jam winners.
