RR Open set to tee-off Aug. 2nd Golfers need to sign up soon

Rules and Pre-Registrations for the Rainy River Open Golf Tournament were released today by the Rainy River Golf Tournament Committee. This year’s annual event will be held on Monday, August 2 to coincide with Rainy River’s Centennial Homecoming Weekend.

More than forty students participated in the evening’s activities which included: inflatable games such as boxing, velcro wall, bungee run and obstacle course as well as basketball, video and card games, and the OPP Sim Car.

The Fort Frances OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing teen from the Fort Frances area. Kathryn K. Chmilewski, age 15 from Kapuskasing, was staying at the Training and Learning Centre in Watten Township when she left the facility on July 1st at approximately 12:45 p.m.
