Peacefully with his family by his side on October 30, 2009 at the Rainy Crest Long Term Care, Fort Frances, Ont, Stanley R. Nelson formerly of Bergland, Ont passed away at the age of 73.

RONALD BRUCE MACLEOD SMITH (SMITTY)

Glen Alan Erbe, 70 of Rainy River Ontario, beloved father, brother, uncle and friend passed away October 4, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Glen was born in Staples on May 27, 1939. He graduated from Staples High School, class of 1957. In 1962, he married Marilyn Martin of Staples. Glen was preceded in death by daughter, Lena; parents, Harry and Margaret Erbe; sister, Marlene Betts.

It is with great sadness that the family of Iona Godin announces her passing on Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Timothy Boonstra, June 5th, 1947 – September 26th, 2009

In loving memory of our dear husband, father and grandfather who passed away on September 3, 2009 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre with his family at his side.

Mrs. Beryl Fay Boyd (Ellis) passed away October 28, 2008 in Fort Frances Hospital. She was born in Altona, Manitoba. Married Edwin William Charles Boyd (Ted) on February 25, 1938. Had two children Don Boyd & Lynn Hendrickson (Boyd).
Beryl belonged to the United Church & Eastern Star.
The family moved to Rainy River in 1952. Where she lived until she moved to Rainycrest in 1996. She was 92 when she passed away.
Beryl was cremated and laid to rest July 21, 2009 in Rainy River Cemetery next to her husband Ted with only the family there.

Helen E. Madell passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Rainy River, Ont on Friday August 21, 2009. Helen was a longtime resident of Rainy River, Ont. She was born April 26, 1928. She was the daughter of Fred and Matilda (nee Podskalny) Madell.
