Oliver Gibbins, left, and Jason Gibbins hoist two of the fish around the trophy that now bears their name an unprecendented four times! They won the 13th RRWT with 22.96 lbs. of walleye, despite the tough fishing bite reported by most teams Friday and Saturday. Fourth Place fish!

Third place lunker!

This beauty of a fish was caught by Lisa Stone on Day 2. She opted not to weigh it as the fish caught by Kilpatrick had already been weighed. It did help her and partner Raymond King win third in the tourney! To see all the RRWT photos click on Photos at left and look for the RRWT 11 gallery.

Record breaker

Sean Kilpatrick, left, reeled up this 10.97 lbs. walleye to break the tournament record held by Colin Wood/Doug Moen since 2004. His partner Dan Armstrong is holding the fish. Holy tomales!

Fran Faragher of Rainy River found this monster green pepper in her garden last week! It tipped the scales at just over 1 pound, which is big for peppers grown in this area!

Blazing the trail

Rainy River's town crew was busy last week building the base for the new community trails project. Work began in Hannam Park and will see a muli-use trail stretch across the community very soon!
