Jonathon Stamler, tour guide at the Rainy River Railway Museum is seen here with recently repainted interior of the facility. He said it took about two weeks to complete. The public is invited to come and check it out this Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. as this will be the last day the museum is open for the summer. He said many folks from all over the continent have come and visited the museum this summer!

Rainy River High and Riverview Schools have been bustling with activity this summer, especially on the outside of the buildings. As seen here from this photo Monday, work on all new parking lot surfacing is well underway. With school starting in just a few weeks, the smell of new pavement will surely still be in the air when kids return.
