Almost sunk

The Teepwells, Nick Teeple and Ashley Croswell, fight to keep their cardboard duct tape boat afloat in the final event of the annual races. It was a free for all that saw 16 of the 22 entries put their boats back in the Rainy River and literally try and sink one another. Great ride!

Riley Brown was one of many people that took a horseback ride hosted by Naughty Pines Riding Ranch Saturday during Railroad Daze. This was Riley's first time on a horse but he loved it.

The Champs

The Benchwarmers won the annual Rainy River Railroad Daze Slo-Pitch Tournament on Sunday. It was a close game until the bottom of the 6th inning when the Warmers scored four to win the game 7-2. Ted Heyens of Stratton, left, and his partner Kelvin Caul nearly won the Lake Despair Castin for Cash derby over the weekend. They finished second with 28.57 lbs. of bass.

Making progress
