Rainy River Record

Monday the Rainy River Town Crew began preparing to knock down the former Rainy River Hotel. It has been condemned for some time and was seized for unpaid taxes a couple of years ago. Town Foreman Bob Jenson expects demolition to begin either today or Wednesday.

Travis Tom was almost unhittable in the innings he played for Team McKinnon during the Rainy River District Fastball League All-star game last Thursday. It was held in Rainy River.

Linden Indian smacked the game winning home-run in the seventh inning in a come from behind win for Team Gemmell last Thursday in Rainy River.
