Letter to the Editor
I am sending you this letter as I was a past participant in the RRWT tournament for the first time this past Sept.
I thought this was a great way to get out and meet fellow anglers and enjoy the stories of past tournaments and have a cool one with people.

Dear editor:
This letter is in response to a column that appeared recently in local papers on the matter of taking time for our families.
Most everyone would admit that life in this present decade is hectic, to say the least. Living expenses are on the increase, and the accompanying responsibilities and available attractions have multiplied also.

Dear Editor,
I was thinking about all the comments made the past few weeks involving the present and past mayor of your fine community and also some of the responses by the local community. I do not have the knowledge or the information to take sides in this argument that has been at the center of this dispute, but would like to offer my opinion. For what it is worth

Baby formula. Shaving products. Over-the-counter medications. Batteries. DVDs.
To some consumers, these products are just some of the items on their regular shopping lists. To retailers, these items represent something much bigger – something that has a direct impact on their long-term viability, their ability to grow and the safety of their customers and employees.

Dear Editor,
Hope you don’t mind but I just wanted to write & say how much I have enjoyed looking at your web site.
Why?
Well apart from it being interesting to see how you are coping with the weather etc.....

Dear Editor Sire;
Allow me to express my thoughts on the Rainy River Fire Dept. We are the first to be called if there would be a flood or storm or other disaster, or an act of terrorism. We respond to every emergency without pay, medals or much gratitude.

Letter to the Editor,
What a Community!
I would just like to take this time to thank everyone from across the district who has made our trying time much more easier to cope.
To all the fire fighters from Rainy River and Dawson, the ambulance people, the police, our friends, our neighbors, and some people we hardly know. Your support, your help, your generosity, your friendship was and still is truly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Dear Editor,
As a taxpayer and life long resident of Rainy River, I am concerned about Glen Armstrong`s letter to the editor.
I asked the “Debs”to holiday with me months ago and it was not to talk politics.

Dear Editor,
Although I have not lived in Rainy River for several years, I enjoy the opportunity to stay connected to the community through the Rainy River Record. I, as do many current and former residents, rely on the Record to keep me apprised of events in the community. In order to ensure that we are getting the complete story, it is imperative that the reporting is responsible, accurate and objective.

Dear Editor,
My name is Dixie McLeod and I am Donnie Galls’ sister.
My family was shocked and scared for Don, Monique and the kids, we are grateful that they have so many caring friends in the area to give them the support that my family are not there to do physically.
