Unless you should start to think that all my correspondence is concerned with some complaint or other, I thought I should pass on a compliment. I would like to compliment you on the quality of the photography in the Rainy River Record.

Dear Editor,
On behalf of the community I wish to express gratitude to all the people involved in last week’s successful Family Literacy Day. It is amazing that over 100 people attended this event when in Emo they only had 19 families.

Letter to the editor,
Congratulations Northwestern Ontario!!! Your efforts have moved Atikokan into the final 25 in Canada to Stage 3 of Kraft Hockeyville 2006. The support that Atikokan, our Hockeyville Committee, and Northwestern Ontario have received in the past couple of weeks has been amazing.

 I would appreciate if You would Print this information I have been mailing all members of the Ontario Legislature on this subject to have Locked in Pensions unlocked for their Seniors of Ontario as the Saskatchewan and Manitoba Government Did for their Seniors.

Thank you for your story of the new Korea Veterans Association (KVA) Unit which is named after Sgt Tommy Prince MM. It was nice of Harry Arnold who himself is a Korea War Veteran to take the time and join with us in the presentation of the Plaque and Charter Honouring one of Canada’s most decorated Aboriginal Veterans.

I have followed the controversy over the closing of the crossing along the CN tracks in Rainy River.

As a resident of Dawson Township I salute my fellow citizens in Rainy River and their offer to share the cost of an upgrade in townships services.

To the Editor,
I would like to commend the people who have shown the leadership of organizing the debate on amalgamation of Rainy River, Dawson & Lake of the Woods. One large municipality in today’s costs would benefit all the people of the area.

Dear Editor,
Your Ken’s Korner on CBC coverage of the Olymicis (Feb. 21, 2006) hits the situation right on the head. I finally gave up I was so utterly confused. And they cry because we question how OUR money is spent.
