New CIBC Manager

Michael Pedri is the new manager at Rainy River's Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. He replaces Jeri Irish who left the bank several months ago. He is seen here in his office at the local branch.

And the winner is...

Rev. Barb Miller, of Stratton, pulled out the winning ticket this morning at International Travel Services for the Kiwanis Club’s “Trip of the Month” draw as Kiwanian Robin Wright looked on. The winner of a trip to Bermuda, valued at $4,500, was Betty Lou Nordin of Rainy River. Next month’s draw is for a trip to Cuba, worth $3,100. —Heather Latter photo
