Northern Community Development Services (NCDS) opened an office in Rainy River this week in the same building as Sears/RR Dutyfree and the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines.

The list of charitably oriented people in the Rainy River area never seems to get shorter.
Rainy River resident Ken Jasper is leading a team of 19 people in a fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis on April 30, 2006 in Winnipeg. Of those 13 of them are from Rainy River and Pinewood.
